"Big Jim", as he was affectionately known by friends and family, was widely known as an avid golfer and diehard Husky fan.  

During his year long fight against gastro-esophageal cancer, Jim managed to realize his dream of attending the 150th Open at St. Andrews.  Sporting a feeding tube, he found the strength to play his final round on the Championship Course at Carnoustie Golf Links.  Bucket List checked, thanks to "Jerry's Make-A-Wish Tour" of Scotland.
